#1335 wontfix Datagrams without Payload Are Not Delivered mkvore ExtraBattery
Description

As it is legal and possible to send UDP datagrams without any payload through the normal internet, I wondered if this is true for I2P as well. So I tried to send a datagram with zero bytes payload from one I2P destination to another using SAM v3.0. I couldn't receive that datagram.

I noticed that there are two routines called checkSize() and checkDatagramSize() in "SAMv1Handler.java" that reject a payload size of zero. I don't know if this is the expected behavior of SAM or I2P in general or if this is just a mistake.

If zero length payload I2P datagrams are not meant to be delivered in general, you might want to add this piece of information to:

https://geti2p.net/en/docs/api/datagrams

The documentation of SAM might also benefit from this info.

All tests were done using I2P 0.9.13-0 with the same semantics posted in the comment 2 of #1334, that is "SESSION CREATE …" and "DATAGRAM SEND …". I used repliable datagrams for my test.

While writing this post, I realized that there is probably a little more work to do regarding ticket #1318. I didn't re-open it though. See comment 23 there.

#642 fixed Undead tunnels when not select "Shared Client". zzz Fisionar
Description

Actually for tunnels with the option disabled "shared client".

If you stop such a client tunnel on http://127.0.0.1:7657/i2ptunnel/, it is marked "stopped", you can not connect through it, but it "ready" in the "Local Destinations". In http://127.0.0.1:7657/tunnels it is not marked "dead".

If you press the "start", then in http://127.0.0.1:7657/i2ptunnel/ and "Local Destinations" there will be two working client with the same name. Once again, try to restart - three. The old tunnels are drop only if the option was selected "Close tunnels when idle".

$java -version java version "1.6.0_24" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.11.1) (6b24-1.11.1-3) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.0-b12, mixed mode)

#467 invalid i2p 0.8.6 does not install Fluffy283
Description

When I try to install 0.8.6 it installs ½ "Base" but as soon as soon as it gets to 2/2 "Windows Service" it freezes and never starts again. I have to exit the installation and can't use the i2p console because it's totally messed up. If this isn't the right place to submit my problem please direct me accordingly. I have posted in the Forum as well in case that was more appropriate.
