Thank you for the swift acceptance and reply kytv Yes, 0.9.7.1 was working fine and was getting regular updates. Successful in upgrading from 0.9.6 to 0.9.7.1 via Ubuntu ppa. I've reinstalled completely using the JAR file for 0.9.8-0.

I have been unsuccessful in reproducing this and understanding how the errors mentioned could be possible. It was certainly an error on the user's system. Otherwise we would have gotten other reports but there weren't any.
Closing as worksforme.
Thanks for the report. I presume that 0.9.7.1 was working?
