#1764 closed enhancement (not our bug)

auto-ip-configured list for Tor users

Description

i think its better for Whonix or Tails or Tor users to give them an auto-configured list inside 127.0.0.1:7657/confignet , within section "IP and Transport Configuration"

for example the list will be auto-configured for not using UDP or Upnp or IPv6 and ..etc from not necessary & necessary options for Tor users.

its much better than saying

"ERR - UDP Disabled and Inbound TCP host/port not set"

we can even add below it "Are Using Tor?" , and when the user click on it = it will redirect him to the auto-configured list. and then he just tick it and everything will work fine after that.

You don't mean a list, but a set of options, I think.

The packagers of I2P in various distros are free to set whatever defaults they want. This is not our issue.

Additionally, whether somebody is using Tor or not has absolutely nothing to do with the settings on this page.

Whether on Tails or Tor, if you're routing I2P traffic over Tor, you're doing it very wrong.

it is not a bug either ways. its an enhancement for Tor users.

and yeah i meant set of options

Additionally, whether somebody is using Tor or not has absolutely nothing to do with the settings on this page.

thats weird , because the options sets inside 'confignet' r not for Tor users. like i said enabling/preferring IPv6 and enabling UDP …etc. these options r not for Tor users.

Whether on Tails or Tor, if you're routing I2P traffic over Tor, you're doing it very wrong.

but u r not giving the opportunity for millions of users using Tails/Whonix/Tor?..etc for using i2p. and thats not a good thing regarding marketing i2p.
