Tried and failed to reproduce using the test setup in comment 5 in the zzz.i2p thread.

Used std. client and server tunnels on the same router, with telnet on the client and netcat -l on the server. Tried all combinations of killing server or client, before or after sending data in one or both directions. This was on linux.

Next to try will be client and server on different routers.

It could also be openBSD vs. linux.

comment 7 in the zzz.i2p thread indicated no issues any more.

Following that, we have a lot better reset propagation through the network, and reset in a lot more cases, with changes in 0.9.30 and 0.9.33
