#247 closed defect (wontfix)

the order of entries (torrents) in i2psnark is not always alpahbetical

Reported by: user Owned by: zzz
Priority: trivial Milestone: 0.8.2
Component: apps/i2psnark Version: 0.8
Keywords: i2psnark, order, alphabetically Cc:

While most files are in aplphabetical order, I found a few exceptions. torrent file and data file do not differ in name (except for the ending) in that case, nor is it related to Capitalization vs small letter. The affected one now, starts with a capital letter tho, in case it's of any relavance, but so do surrounding torrents.

What else do you need?

I wrote some code a couple releases ago to ignore a leading "The " or "The." in the sort, but it seems to work sometimes and not others. I need to look at it.

Confirmed that skipping the leading "The" is what is confusing people. I'll leave it the way it is for now but if it continues to bug people maybe I'll get rid of it.
