That's an eepsite help page which is translated on transifex. Unfortunately it's going to be painful to fix it over there. The alternative may be a bit of CSS or a fixup script but that may be difficult to maintain. Not sure how to do it right now.

If there are any issues in the console, let us know. We do have an Arabic CSS so changes there are easy.

CC'ing idk for website issues. Please provide examples.

Resolution: fixed
Status: newclosed

Fixed it the easy way, just checked it in, did not touch transifex.
In ff65ee0ddba237f31a2e437e2f29883bd68cca5b to be 0.9.45-16.
For new installs only, we do not overwrite the eepsite help files on update.

For any console and/or website issues, please open one or two new tickets, so those may be assigned to the correct people. Closing this one.

I forgot to mention that some words are translated with the wrong characters or writing system.

For example, in the eepsite help pages, when you hover on the Arabic flag you get ﻉﺮﺒﻳﺓ.
That is incorrect because the letters appear to be not attached and is not written in the Arabic script. In reality, it is supposed to be عربية.

Notice that the letters in the fixed version appear to be in cursive, while the wrong version is not in cursive. Arabic is written in cursive. It seems like you've used the wrong script for that.

My guess is that you've used a writing system that is somewhat similar to Arabic script. I've seen this on the setup page of I2P console too. Not sure if that happens to other words.

Thanks for the comments. None of us on the team speak the language. The page was translated on Transifex a year and a half ago in the 'eepsite' resource. Other console items are in different resources. Anything that comes from Transifex, we just take it, we can't review it.

If you wish to fix up the eepsite or console text further, please sign up on Transifex and request access to the i2p project. If you let us know in IRC #i2p-dev, we'll give you the access then, otherwise wait for us to see it.

The Arabic flag is only shown on the English help page. I'll fix the text as you recommended. In a couple of cases like that, we may have taken the translation from wikipedia or something years ago, who knows.
