Description
I think, we should rename the long-present but entirely misleading name "shared clients" in tunnel setup.
In the end, when irc, eepproxy and pop3 are on "share clients" I won't be able to use thunderbird for irc sessions.
Why do we call it "shared clients"? What's the client I share? Will my browser use my irc client, namely xchat, to access forum.i2p?
Or should it not rather be called "shared tunnel"?
shared (client) tunnel - a tunnel shared by various clients, i.e. a shared tunnel. Or if you want to retain the nothion of it being a client tunnel, then call it "different clients" as this tunnel is used by different but not shared clients - the clients are NOT shared, but various or different; or the long version "shared by clients"
This is why I think it should rather be named accordingly.

on routerconsole not many. Iirc, I found it only in i2prunnel, routerconsole start page's readme and initialNews. But I cannot speak of the docs.

you have some points. I'm concerned about how many references to 'shared clients' we may have in our docs and elsewhere in the console.
Some day I hope to have 'shared client groups', where there may be multiple groups of shared tunnels, each with their own name.
Hopefully others will add their comments on your proposal here.
