Please clarify what you are asking:

  • "Wrong IP" means the the address specified was invalid, could not be bound to, and no error was displayed?
  • The bound address should be shown on config.jsp in the router console?
  • The address should be configurable on config.jsp?

no response, setting to 0.9 but will eventually close it.

Resolution: fixed
Status: assignedclosed

Closing because:

1) No response in 15 months
2) Fix in 0.8.13 to automatically bind to a specified IP means that the advanced config setting is not necessary in most cases - see #591
3) Bind errors do generate log messages

While 2) is not technically a fix, #591 will make things more foolproof.
