After several hours of uptime suddenly all local destinations' tunnels collapse (turn yellow and stay yellow. am disconnected from irc without reconnection) and threads get dumped. tunnels won't recover. participating in 5000 tunnels. Normally, I get numbers a bit lower than those.

I2P version: 0.8.10-7-rc

I don't see anything in the dump, other than that you are running an immense amount of stuff - seedless, a ton of torrents, bote, SAM, etc. - not to mention 5000 tunnels. November 7 was also just before we released 0.8.11 and the net got a lot better.

It may just be a symptom of a severely overloaded CPU, or almost running out of RAM.

I don't know why it didn't recover but unfortunately I don't think I can diagnose it from here 2 weeks later. If it happens again find me on #i2p-dev and maybe we can do more detective work.

p.s. you may wish to tell sponge about the huge amount of seedless errors in the log.

Looks like you are running out of FD's.
Increase the FD limits if you can, you usually must be root to do that though via ulimit.

zzz: I've never been running 5000 tunnels, always less than 50 - if there's 5000 that's definitely a malfunction
