#603 closed defect (no response)

Incoming UDP connections decreasing, or not builded at all

I'm launching I2P behind a VPN.
Ports redirection is well configured.
When I didn't launch I2P for a moment (4-6 days), everything's fine, incoming UDP connections are happening after a while and everything's working (max connections allowed reached, share ratio around 10).
But a couple of days later, they slowly decrease in number, and only outgoing UDP are remaining. The participating tunnels are decreasing too, to reach 0 after a while)
If I restart I2P, incoming UDP are not even happening, only outgoing.
Everything is working fine if I'm not using a VPN.
No problem with NTCP connections.
It's happening at least since I2P 0.8.7.

This could be a problem with MTU. 0.9.2 contains fixes to detect and advertise the MTU in the netdb, so that UDP works better. See #682 for details. 0.9.2 also contains several UDP fixes that may apply if your external port is different than your internal port. More fixes are coming in 0.9.3.

Please update with your current router version and on whether the problem persists.
